Join us for a traditional re-enactment of pre-1840’s Fur Trade Era camp and events, nestled in on the Sheyenne River.
Located 57 miles southwest of Fargo, ND the 2019 will be packed with activities for all ages including shooting events, seminars/demonstrations, primitive archery, hawk & knife, kid’s games, women’s events and so much more. Fun for the whole family. If your talent is not in competition, bring your musical instruments to share other talents with the camp.
2019 HPRR promises to have competitions, activities, demonstrations, and educational sessions for everyone! Including numerous black powder shooting events; rifle, shot-gun, pistol, trade gun and flintlocks. As well as archery contests, hawk and knife throws, flu-flu shoot, camp games, cooking contests, seminars, and women’s and kid’s games.
The High Plains Regional Rendezvous is a pre-1840 Rendezvous. All camps, accoutrements, clothing and trade goods are required to be representative of those prior to the 1840 Fur Trade Era. Rendezvous participants must be in period clothing, including footwear, to enter and leave camp from June 16 until after closing ceremony.

From I-29, take exit 49 ND-46. 31 Miles West on ND-46, Left (south) on 140th Ave SE (towards Sheldon). 8.5 mi turn left (east) on 62 1/2 St SE. 3 mi to camp site.

Trade Rules — Read the Trade Chief's rules regarding trade goods. Trade Tokens will be awarded for Rendezvous events. All 2019 HPRR tokens will need to be redeemed at the 2019 Rendezvous.
